Manuscript of 26 lines per page written in nasta'liq calligraphy, opening with a unwan frontispiece illuminated with floral scrolls and polychrome and gold mandorls, featuring the beginning of the episode of Kamous-i Kashani. The manuscript ends with the episode of the Khaqan of China and King Bahram. Fifteen illustrations depict scenes of single combats, departures to war, and meetings of rulers.
