VASE baluster forming TABLE TOP in porcelain with fine polychrome decoration of two large reserves representing, on a blue background night, the queen Marie-Antoinette and her company in country dress taking a tea outside; and for the other a landscape in the Petit Trianon. Rich ornamentation in matt and burnished gold of scrolls. It rests on a fluted pedestal with asparagus. Chased and gilded bronze mounting such as openwork gallery, handles in roaring lion's head and base with offset angles.
Parisian work of style Louis XVI in the taste of the manufacture of Sevres. 19th century.
Height : 29 cm. Width : 27,5 cm (Wear and tear, small accidents, dent and breakage to the gallery).
It was probably originally a potpourri that lost its cover when it was put on electricity (the inner lining was pierced for this purpose).
