Born in Marseille. Lives and works in Paris and Bordeaux. Graduated in Plastic Arts from the University of Bordeaux Montaigne, he began his career
in the 2000s with the Fabrice Galvani gallery in Toulouse and regularly exhibits in France and abroad, notably in New York. In 2005, he made his first trip to Armenia. Winner of the Grand Prix Bernard Magrez, he left for a two-month residency in China in 2018. Several of his works are present in the A.A Moueix collection since 2010. He works
with the Samira Cambie gallery in Montpellier and is represented in Paris by the Lazarew gallery where he is regularly exhibited. In 2021 "genius loci" (text Jeanette Zwingenberger) and 2022 "Ce qui reste" (text Julie Chaizemartin) then Luxembourg Art Week. In 2023, he co-organizes the group exhibition "Mimesis" at the Lazarew Gallery, Paris and participates in "Immortelle" at
MOCO Montpellier. Guillaume Toumanian is the founder of the MENK project.
