Born in 1985 in Clamart. After secondary scientific studies of which he will retain the research process and the experimental approach
experimental approach, Raphaël Tachdjian joins the Condé school in Paris where he learns graphic design and deepens his plastic practice. He devoted himself to drawing. In parallel to his daily practice, he works as a visual communication workshop instructor at Chapiteaux Turbulents, a work support establishment for autistic and psychotic people. He intervenes as a visual artist in workshops with students in applied arts schools. In 2010, he also founded and animated a research laboratory in experimental drawing. In 2015, under the impulse of Olivier Castaing, his gallery owner, he decided to devote himself entirely to his art. His virtuosity, his imagination and the realization of serial and narrative drawings confirm the exceptional potential and talent of this young artist, whom some compare to his great and prestigious elder Robert Longo, by the power of his representations at the borders of the absolute photographic rendering. The School Gallery dedicated its first solo exhibition to him in 2011 and it is to him, the youngest member of the Team School Gallery, that the honors return with his second solo show on the occasion of the inauguration of the gallery's new space in the Haut Marais.
