Bronze group of a doe and her fawn, Japan, Meiji era (1868-1912)
The doe lying down, her head turned towards her youngster who is climbing on her side, black patina, finely incised coat, stamped signature at the base: Morimasa chu. The tips of the two front legs of the fawn are missing, as well as one of its ears.
