Pair of armchairs in molded wood, white varnished, carved and partially gilded, with a flat fluted backrest, topped by a female mask framed by stretched palmettes, with armrests with leafy attachments and consoles in turned columns, ringed with friezes of long or prickly leaves, or flowers on three registers, and resting on two turned feet, ringed with gadrooned hooves in front or sabres in the back. The curved front with scrolls decorated with a flower framed with small scrolls, bases and olive branches. The side rails are fluted and the rear one is plain with scrolls. The front legs are decorated with winged foudres. Nose of the armrests with a stylized flower corolla. Empire period. One in shaft, the other waiting for fabric, with backrest stretched with green silk. Brass balls under the front legs. H. Height : 101,5 cm. - Length : 65,1 cm. - Depth : 71 cm. Wear to the gilding, scratches, chips and some missing parts.
