Factitious collection of 29 fascicles on the ponds of the Dombes. 3 volumes. The fascicles on the theme of the ponds of Dombes extend from 1806 (Memoir on the insalubrity of the southern part of the department of Ain, by P. GOFFIERR), until 1868 (Creation of the canton of VILLARS). Among the authors, we find great scholars (M.C. Guigue, Valentin-Smith, Greppo, de Nohlac, Isidore Bernard). But also official reports, newspaper articles. A handwritten table is bound at the end of volume 3. 13 by 22 cm. Half brown basane at the end of the 19th century, binding in good condition. Fascicles in good condition. Each volume is about 500 pages. Two folding maps are present, belonging to the work of LAMAIRESSE : exposé de la question des étangs et de l'assainissement de la Dombes.
