Chrysanthemums of Japan
Rare stemmed glass; the piriform base and the cup joined by a pink tinted glass ring glued to the base. Proof in slightly tinted glass; the title decoration engraved and heightened with gold, the hearts of flowers represented by cabochons stuck with hot on coloured grounds (two red, one green) and entirely taken again in cold engraving with the manner of a hammering. Around 1902. Signed E. GALLÉ in a cartouche in the shape of a leaf and engraved and enhanced with gold. H. 11 cm - D. 10 cm
