Good impressions with wide margins. 72 engravings (of 85) depicting scenes from the New Testament originating from Jeremy Taylor's "The Great Exemplar of Sanctity and Holy Life according to the Christian Institution", published by Richard Royston. William Faithorne (1616-1691) based his style upon Dutch printmakers such as Collaert or Visscher. Each engraving is accompanied by a quote from the Gospels.
