Handle of screen to hand known as chauri, in ivory of proboscidian (Elephas Maximus or Loxodonta Africana) turned and carved, with its white wooden leaf trimmed with red velvet embroidered with a crown of carnations on one side and the initials crown of carnations on one side and the initials VK under a tree on the other side. The button of of the leaf is finely carved with leafy scrolls. The ivory peg for attaching the handle to the leaf is missing, as is the top button.
