(6) ff, 243 pp, (1) f., pp. 5-220, (4) pp. spine ends worn, some restorations, endpapers redone, hole in title without loss of text. Several quires partly detached. The illustration consists of a frontispiece, a portrait of Ovid engraved in red ink on the titles, and 226 (121+105) figures engraved in mid-page by Le Clerc, Chauveau and Le Pautre.
