Silver COFFEE POT. LONDON Charles WRIGHT (received in 1775), 1775. Standing on a circular pedestal, the curved body with a curved wooden handle, the domed lid topped by a flowering seed. Decorated with lanceolate leaves on the neck and the base. Coat of arms engraved in a shield suspended from a ribbon knot, two palms below: gold with a silver chief charged with three lions hoisting. Overdecorated with draperies with ribbon bows and garlands of laurels intertwined on the foot, body and lid. Height 32 cm; weight 986 g.
