Nice letter in which she recommends with benevolence one of her former maids; "[...] I gave her a certificate of accuracy and probity that I confirm very willingly. I have given her a certificate of accuracy and probity, which I am happy to confirm. She knows her job very well, and during the whole time she has been in my service, I have had no complaints about her. The ladies she served before me have also given me a good account of her [...]. She has not seen the slightest flaw or inclination that her correspondent thinks she can fear. She stayed with me long enough that I could easily have discovered it [...]." Rare.
