Biography :
Pierre Paul Léon GLAIZE (1842-1932), French painter, was first a student of his father Auguste Barthélémy Gaize and then entered the Paris School of Fine Arts in the studio of Jean Léon Jérôme. A member of the jury of the Salon de la Société des artistes français, he won several prizes, including the second prize of Rome in painting in 1866.
