In-4, [2] f., XXX-159 p., [2] f., pl., contemporary red half-basin, smooth spine, gilt title and large rocaille irons (rubbed edges and spines, dull corners, a few ff. unbound at the end of the volume; sometimes sustained russeting and browning; 2 plates and 3 f. of text missing). Work illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and 58 (out of 60) engraved plates, 30 of which are colored, evoking the erotic scenes of Roman antiquity. Pl. 47 and 48 are missing, as well as the text from p.123 to 128.
