Mouillard, L.-P. -The flight without beating. Posthumous work restored and preceded by a study on the ignored work of L-P Mouillard by André Henry-Coüannier, civil engineer of mines.
Paris, Édition Aérienne, Paris 1923. In 8°cardboard with smooth spine. Portrait of LP Mouillard in frontispiece 1834-1897) - 484 pages. 12 figures in-t , 1 folding plate describing 53 realizations or projects of flying machines since the year 1500 (Leonardo da Vinci) until 1880 (Edison) with a description for each machine. This posthumous work follows "l'Empire de l'air. Essai d'ornithologie appliquée à l'aviation" that Mouillard published in 1881 and which was a great classic of aeronautical literature that inspired many inventors including the Wright brothers. Uncommon work in perfect condition.
