Oval miniature portrait, signed and dated lower right Dubourjal 1837, of Raymond Philippe d'AGOULT (1824-1888), under a convex glass. In its original frame in precious wood circled with chased and gilded bronze. Height : 6,5 cm - Width : 5,3 cm Frame : Height : 17,5 cm - Width : 13,5 cm Raymond, viscount of AGOULT, son of Alphonse Charles, count of AGOULT (1784-1864), lieutenant of the bodyguards of the king, colonel of cavalry, and of Elisabeth Stéphanie DESCHAMPS de La VARENNE, colonel in the 1st regiment of hussars, was commander of the Legion of honor (1882). Born on October 10, 1824 in Montluçon (Allier), he died on May 24, 1888 in the castle of La Varenne in Sauvagny (Allier). Paris, Louise Françoise Eulalie GUIGNES de MORETON de CHABRILLAN, born on October 22, 1827 in Saint-Vallier (Drôme), died on March 23, 1894 in Paris VIIIe, daughter of Alfred GUIGNES de MORETON, marquis of CHABRILLAN (1800-1871) and of Pauline de La CROIX de CHEVRIÈRES (1803-1859). From this marriage, two children were born, who died young, without marriage.
