Courbouzon (Jura), Paul Eugène GARNIER de FALLETANS, officer of the house of king CHARLES X, knight of Malta, born on May 16, 1785 in Dôle (Jura) and died on July 27, 1862 in Dôle. Of which three daughters : Philippine
Octavie (1818-1849), without marriage, Eugénie (1823-1906), countess
O'MAHONY, whose descendants are still alive today, and Mélanie (1825-1899), without marriage. His grandson Maurice, Count O'MAHONY (1849-1920), is the author of the text on the back of the miniature.
