Oval miniature portrait, signed Cécile Villeneuve on the left, of Adélaïde des ROYS (1861-1937), aged 3 years. Portrait identified on the inside as Adelaide des Roys, Paris, 1864. In its original oval frame in gold double face, with coat of arms under glass painted in gold and gouache on silk. Height : 3,5 cm - Width : 4,4 cm Jeanne Nathalie Adélaïde des ROYS (d'ESCHANDELYS) was born on November 11, 1861 in Paris I and died on December 17, 1937 in Laneuvevilledevant- Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle). She was the daughter of Ernest Gabriel des ROYS (D'ESCHANDELYS), marquis des ROYS (1836-1903) and Marie Jeannette Mathilde PARENT. She married Count Robert Jean Marie Gaspard O'GORMAN, born on November 12, 1859 in Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle), from whom she divorced on February 10, 1920 by a decision of the civil court of Nancy, on February 28, 1885 in Paris VIIe and on March 2, 1885 in the church of Saint-Pierre-du-Gros-Caillou, Paris VIIe. He is the son of Ferdinand ALFRED (1825-1900) and Marguerite Alix d'HOFFELIZE (1834-1913). They have a daughter Ethne Gabrielle Marie Odile, born on July 19, 1896 in Laneuveville-devant- Nancy. Nancy, who married Gustave Emile OUDINOT, born on October 18, 1919 at the town hall of Paris I. Emile OUDINOT, born on April 28, 1893 in Paris I, died on December 1, 1960 in Paris X, and from whom she divorced on October 11, 1938. Her brother Jacques married Marie Charlotte Yvonne de ROBIN de BARBENTANE in 1901. It is him who makes share, with his sons François and Jean, at the time of his death. Name extinguished in 2009 with Etienne des ROYS, born on May 31, 1935 in Paris XVIe, and died on December 19, 2009.
