ANDRÉ BRETON (1896-1966) AUTOGRAPHIC LETTER SIGNED to [Francis VIELÉ-GRIFFIN] WITH TWO POEMS. [1918]. 4 pages in-8 in red ink. Letter addressed to Francis Vielé-Griffin in which Breton expresses his admiration for the symbolist poet and attaches two of his autographed poems that will be published in his first book Mont de Piété in 1919. Poem and to you alone are dated 1916 by Breton. "If mourning too often abuses your silences, let us believe in the wonderful eternity of your Joys and wish for soon new books of light" ... ...
