MARCGRAVE, Georg; DE BONDT, Jacob. De Indiae utriusque re naturali et medica libri quatordecim. Amsterdam: Louis III and Daniel Elzévir, 1658. 3 parts in one volume In-4 late half vellum, corners rubbed as well as edges. Engraved title page, slight lack restored lower corner. Nearly 577 woodcut figures in text (animals, plants). Well complete with the figures. Partly original edition as this second printing has been considerably enriched by Piso who added new chapters on medicinal plants (among others). A very nice copy despite some foxing, very fresh.
