An Imperial Fabergé Jewelled Gold And Enamel Snuff Box The snuffbox of circular cushion form. The surface enamelled in white, centre with a diamond-set Imperial crown in silver, set with rose-cut diamonds, two cabochon sapphires and blue translucent enamel surrounded by a golden ring. Struck with workmaster's initials, ‘56’ (=14K) gold hallmark and signed “ФАБЕРЖЕ” (=Faberge) in Cyrillic. Maker’s mark 'A*H' of workmaster August Frederik Hollming, (1854-1915) Assay master’s mark: Cyrillic initials ‘Ya.L’ for Yakov Nikolayevich Lyapunov (1898-1903). Diam. 47mm. Height: 24mm. Gross weight: 40.3 g NOTE August Frederik Hollming was born in Loppi, Finland. He was a Swedish/Finnish workmaster who worked for Faberge from 1880.
