Montaña de jade con peana de madera, dinastía... Lot n° 62

Gray jade carved in the form of a craggy mountain at the base of which, on the main face, flows a river through which a boat with an old man inside is plying. On the peak of the mountain is carved a four-character inscription on the mountain and on the reverse, approximately in the center, a poem with minister's signature "朱珪" (Zhu Gui) and two seals. It stands on an elaborate custom-made wooden pedestal that is also in the shape of craggy rocks and in this case has vegetation such as trees and bushes. Both have patina due to their age.
