Rectangular gilded brass case with protruding profiled base and roof. Round faceted (does not close) silvered, partly guilloché dial with black Roman numeral ring and railroad minute markers. Pendulum movement with spring winding, acc. to R+C, Paris/London. Half and hour strike on bell. Signs of age and use such as minor scratches and nicks. Circa 1860-1880. 19x 16x 12 cm.
