Strong Cavalry sword called "Schiavonne". Bronze "cat's head" pommel, wooden spindle tied with a cord and covered with leather (missing watermark). Iron mounting, day guard in basket with some branches coming down under the crosspiece with a poucier. Large blade (92 cm) with double edge and three gutters. Total length 105 cm. 17th century. Oxidation. BE. Sold as is.
