(NASA. MOON. SURVEYOR III) Photograph of Surveyor III showing the second footprint of the Surveyor III probe on the lunar surface. The "Surveyor" program succeeds the "Rangers" program of observation of the lunar surface and experimentation of the techniques of soft landing of a probe on the moon.
