Older examples of the Tank model are extremely rare on the market, our example with its clear provenance has all the attributes of the early 1920s model: Breguet hands, spinel winding mechanism and double numbering clearly visible on the back. The production of the tank was extremely low, between 10 and 100 watches per year until 1969. According to the book "Cartier la montre Tank" by Franco Cologni only 67 Tank watches were produced in 1924, for a total of 195 Tank watches produced since the launch of production in 1919.
