Instants captured on the spot and captioned in a band at the foot bearing the initial in black and a name or short apostrophe. Without the J and the W.
Handwritten lettering in ink, in English, on the reverse of the first board, bearing the date July 1, 1840.
Well complete and preserved.
Two plates have been formerly misfolded leaving vertical folds on the engraving.
