Primer decorated with a frontispiece, a title and six plates of four illustrations all finely engraved. Progressive alphabets, syllabary, words and sentences to be spelled precede the plates of four engravings each one representing trades. (Two for the letters J and V, no K, nor W, x and Z). For each trade a didactic text, sometimes scientific, filled with judicious advice and always completed by "Des arts et métiers", "De la monnaie d'or et d'argent" and Le Coucou paresseux, fable.
Very well preserved with minimal rubbing to the binding.
