[Illustrated Primer]. Series of twenty-five woodcut maps. No address, no place, no date. [France. ca. 1890]. Brown wooden box with blond fillet on the lid (10.5 x 20.2 x 9.7 cm) containing 25/25 lithographed cards in colors (5.7 x 3.8 x 1 cm) applied on a strong wooden rectangle. Chromolithographed alphabet cards. A central initial is placed on the object whose name it begins. Several varied occurrences per card featuring children, from Arbre to Zouave. This set was later applied on wooden rectangles and enclosed in a nice old box with clasp. Complete set.
