Beautiful system alphabet book composed of six lithographed plates with pull tabs.
Four letters per plate (no W), lithographed in black and in colors on beige background. For each of the initials four different typographies and a vegetable frame in the center of which a square opening was made and which lets see the initial decorated in red or in blue. By activating the cardboard strip placed at the bottom, the captioned chromolithographed occurrence appears. Primer only made up of animals whose names are to be spelled.
The publisher Capendu succeeded Guérin-Müller et Cie in the early 1880s.
System leaves in perfect condition, covers a little soiled, minor restoration to the corners of the first cover and reinforcement inside the first double leaf.
