Provenance: Collection Albert Sallet (1877-1948). Military doctor in Indochina. Co-founder in 1913 of the Association of the Friends of Old Hué with Léopold Cadière, of the Missions Etrangères de Paris. Corresponding member of the French School of the Far East. After leaving the Army, he became curator of the Cham Art Museum in Tourane until 1931, then curator of the Georges-Labit Museum in Toulouse.
