Set of four projects of fans painted with gouache on paper, each decorated with a central cartouche. - The first one offers a central cartouche painted with a cherub, surrounded by compartments with gray backgrounds or enhanced with friezes of flowers and trophies. - The second presents a central cartouche decorated with a mountain landscape, two walkers on a path. The compartments, with gray, cream or black backgrounds, are decorated with birds, flowers, and a pleated. - The third presents an ancient ruin in cartouche, Surrounded by compartments of various shapes or patterns in red. - The fourth includes a large central cartouche decorated with a landscape of ancient ruins. The compartments, with black, cream or blue backgrounds, are decorated with grotesques, large birds, antique vases, and a pleated. The four framed under glass, in excellent condition of conservation and freshness. (Some cracks in the margins. a slight tear at the bottom on one). Late 18th century / Empire period
