Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
A ruby field, highlighted with chess pawns, decorated with Caucasian symbolism, supports four diamond medallions with hooks, central checkerboards and Medes stars. The frame is composed of two main borders, one ivory, with starry caissons and kotchaks, the other marine with a series of blossoming corollas placed on foliage. Counter borders brick with a succession of polychrome flowers. External border with navy and ivory chess piece in positive/negative. Beautiful condensed Caucasian decoration.
