MIR-SARABEND carpet (Iran), 3rd third of the 20th century
Dimensions : 131 x 89cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
A marine field with multicolored vegetal botehs, in staggered rows, is framed by a main ivory border with stylized undulating vegetal branches, flanked by four counter borders with garlands of flowers and chess pieces in polychrome. Nice set. (Small wear)
