Anonymous - Attributable to Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1851) - The castle of Predjama. 19th century. India ink and wash on paper. 38x24,5cm. Original drawing. Illegible signature in the lower right corner. Laminated on a paper which constitutes the margins, itself laminated on acid-free cardboard. Some light foxing. This troglodyte castle is located in Slovenia. It is known to have sheltered Erasmus Lüger, then enemy of the Austrian emperor, Frederick III. Erasmus had chosen to fight on the side of the Hungarian king Mathias Corvin
