Salvador DALI and Sigmund FREUD Moses and Monotheism
Art and Value. Paris, 1974. Large folio in sheets, two plexiglass folders with burgundy suede spine, burgundy suede slipcase. Monumental edition of a text by Sigmund Freud, prefaced by Salvador Dalí and decorated by the artist with 10 original prints in color numbered and signed, printed on lambskin. Dish decorated with a bas relief in metal embossed and silvered resuming the Moses of Michelangelo.
Limited edition at 250 copies on vellum paper of Rives, this one n° 72 signed by the artist, in the Colophon.
Traces of moisture and slight scratches at the bottom of a plate, tiny fold in the lambskin of one of the plates, foxing at the edges of the text leaves. Otherwise a fine copy complete with the 10 etchings and lithographs in color each numbered and signed (Michler-Löpsinger: 723 - 732).
