Minor abrasions are visible along the edges where the frame has rubbed. The varnish is dirty and uneven. The paint surface is a little worn and thin in the brown and beige tones. Discoloured infillings are visible to the naked eye, particularly along the neck of the Saint. Several areas of restoration can be seen throughout the hair and skin tones. Inspection under UV reveals: restoration throughout the hair and skin tones; and retouchings to the costume and background.
