Clock with a young Greek sailor with an anchor called "Greek of Hydra" in bronze with two patinas, the plinth with rich decoration of palmettes and scrolls. Wire movement. Restoration period Height: 44 cm Movement as is The subject of this clock is taken from an engraving by Louis Dupré "Le grec d'Hydra", presenting a Greek sailor in this position. A similar model is reproduced in Stéphane Adler's book "Les Heures du Philhellénisme, les pendules Philhelléniques françaises".
