66 China : a rare pair of large hard porcelain scroll vases. Painted decorations in blue monochrome of great fire made up of nine medallions, in light relief, decorated with animals: dogs, deer, deer, geese, roosters, horses... These medallions are detached from a background entirely covered with chrysanthemum flowers, plant elements as well as reserves in the shape of lotus leaves in relief. Mark under the two vases: Lingzhi, symbol of immortality. Period : Qing dynasty, Kang'xi period : 1662-1722, early 18th century. Height : 56 cm. Condition : visible chips. No restoration. Shots at the base of one. Visible enamel jumps. Provenance : former Belgian collection (The shape is related to the pair of scroll vases in the collections of Auguste Le Fort N°inventaire P.O.9054).
