Provenance: Pierre Cailler Collection (1901-1971) With the best provenance: the collection of Pierre Cailler who wrote the "Pierre Cailler. Catalog raisonné de l'oeuvre sculpté de André Derain". A fantastic Bronze that was cast in 1959, at the suggestion of Giacometti who wanted to make Derain the sculptor known, by the painter's widow, Alice Derain.
