Condition : In good condition, with slight handling creases, a few small stains and slight discoloration on the edges. Two small tears on the right margin and the upper right corner is slightly bent. right corner is slightly bent. Very clean image otherwise. Published by Masson & Piazza, Paris. Like the Maitre de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-98, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, containing 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned solely for this series. Among the artists who participated, in addition to Mucha, were Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
