The right hand panel is titled, signed and sealed at the bottom right by the artist Itô Kakô (1939). Titled 'Usumi'zakura', and signed 'Kakô'. The left byôbu is also titled, signed and sealed in the same way, but on a label on the back.
The panels are surrounded by two silk borders The screens are both protected by a black lacquered wooden frame
