Pair of large six-panel Byôbu screens with continuous painting of the famous Neodani Usuzumi cherry tree in bloom, on a golden silk background. The right hand panel is titled, signed and sealed at the bottom right by the artist Itô Kakô (1939). Titled 'Usumi'zakura', and signed 'Kakô'. The left byôbu is also titled, signed and sealed in the same way, but on a label on the back. The panels are surrounded by two silk borders The screens are both protected by a black lacquered wooden frame Total width of a room divider: 368.6 cm ( 2 x 62.9 cm and 4 x 60.7 cm), Height: 175 cm Showa period (1926-1989).
