Pair of silver torches in the Louis XV style and... Lot 54

Pair of silver torches in the Louis XV style and bearing apocryphal punches, they rest on a circular base with doucine and frieze of mirrors, clasps and scrolls. The bell is chiseled with twisted gadroons bordered with amatis. The shaft, swollen in its upper part, is decorated with compartments, fleurons, acanthus leaves and roses au naturel. The tapering is chiseled with roses on molded nets. French work from the second half of the 19th century with apocryphal punches imitating Parisian punches from the middle of the 18th century.
