Fashion engravings, circa 1890
Large folded fan, the cream silk leaf painted with flowers in shades of gray and blue, and decorated with three color-enhanced paper engravings of elegant women in the fashion of the 1800-1810s. In the center, the engraving bears the title "Walking dress" and the name of the designer and engraver "R. Sands del. et sc.".
Dull reverse.
Bone mount. The plumes engraved with flowers. Gilded metal clasp.
