Fishermen and peasants, China, 19th century Broken type fan in red lacquered bamboo painted with a scene of daily life with a fisherman and a woman carrying packages. The top of the strands painted gold on black background of animals including dogs, rabbits and birds. On the reverse side, a family gathering with two go players on the right. The plumes are decorated with dragons. H.t. 20 cm (wear, missing)
