French school of the 19th century. French clock, Art Nouveau style. Second half of the 19th century. Black marble with red marble inlay. No key, in need of refinishing. Lids missing. Presents rust. Measurements: 54 x 51 x 13,5 cm; 28,5 x 15,5 x 16 cm (garnish). French Art Nouveau table clock. The clock has a smooth base decorated with incisions with floral motifs on which stands a body topped with a circular figure. Above a mirror carved with floral motifs is a round white dial with black Roman numerals. The cups that complete the set have a classicist-inspired aesthetic, carved in marble, highlighting their natural qualities and colours. Both stand on a very simple quadrangular base.
