French school 19th century. Table clock. Chicaranda, metal and marquetry of metal and semi-precious stones and mother-of-pearl. No key. Needs refinishing. Measurements: 68 x 30 x 16 cm. Table clock of classicist style and architectural inspiration, made in wood of chicaranda and richly adorned with applications of golden metal and marquetry of classic procedure that combines delicate vegetable motives and classic trophies in metal, with engraved details, and some small elements in mother-of-pearl, mainly flowers and fruits. The dial features Roman numerals in black on a gilt background and pike hands. With a large gilt pendulum with ornamentation dedicated to the sun.
