In 1954, a book, The Secret Life of Salvador Dali was published, illustrated by a photograph of Raymond Hains showing a hand multiplied by a set of mirrors. Not quoted, Raymond Hains, then very young artist insists with humor of this "Flagrant-Dali" and of this moustachist: "It is on my beard and certainly not on your moustache that I see this hand being used for the purpose of Dali: Guided by the antennas-moustaches, your henchman spotted it".
