A notice giving an account of the brilliant career of General Berthier (1770-1807), of his different states of service (general in the revolutionary army and in the army of Italy commanded by Bonaparte, chief of staff of the army of Naples) and of his high achievements; it ends with a poem of four stanzas: Aux mânes du général Berthier.
All leaves, including the first one which does not include any text, has a typographical frame printed in red for text placement.
